Father Loves You

George La Du - Bio and Pastoral Recommendations

George La Du is an Author, Pastor and Father in the Faith.  In 1972, George began his personal relationship with Jesus Christ, via the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, during his first year of college at Southern Oregon College (1972-73).  He then attended Portland Community College (1974-75), Portland Bible College (1978) & the Bible Leadership Institute in Dallas, Texas (1979-1980).

George served as an Associate Pastor at Aloha Community Church (1975-1989), Senior Pastor at Jubilee Christian Fellowship Church (1989-2005) & now Director of Jubilee Christian Fellowship (2005-present).  For the past 20 years, George has worked extensively with Faith, Business & Community Leaders in helping them to discover their God-given Identity.  George created the Identity Project (13-week Bible course) and has authored several books, Marketplace Apostle (helping business leaders to recognize & fulfill their Kingdom Assignments) and The Beloved (a five-step process of becoming our Father’s Beloved sons, who serve).

George grew up in a Catholic family with six brothers and two sisters, wherein his father was Dean at various Catholic universities.  When his father & mother divorced, George (age 14) and his mother raised his brothers & sister.  He met his wife, Randi, when he was 15 (she was 14), wherein they married 5 years later (1974) and began their own family with 3 girls and one boy and now have 3 grandchildren (after 50+ years of marriage).

In over 50 years of ministry, George has been honored as a Father of Faith throughout in the Pacific Northwest and has ministered across America and in various nations around the world.

“We have known George and Randi La Du for over 20 years and are grateful that for the last few years we have been working together in our city and under the same kingdom covenant.  George has a father’s heart and that is reflected in everything he does in our ministry as well as the city. He has such grace to work with businessmen and help them find their identity in Christ and help them pastor their business. His weekly meetings throughout the region are empowering and inspirational.  George and Randi were led by the Lord to start working with us in the local church well over 7 years and the work they have done with our leaders and over all the church has been inspirational. Their unconditional love and effort they put into everything they do is of great example to the body of Christ. They have added so much value to me, our leaders and church. We recommend the ministry of the La Du’s in every church in our region.” Dr Victor Alvarizares, Lead Pastor at Father’s House / Casa del Padre International

“Pastor George La Du has been instrumental in the creation of the spiritual climate of care and encounter that Love City Church enjoys today.  George’s personal mentoring in encountering our Father God’s heart has had an amazing impact on my understanding of God, leadership and ministry. George has been a father in the faith to many. His availability and ability to model the unconditional love of Christ has bolstered the spiritual climate of our ministry.  George, alongside his wife Randi, have made himself available to our leadership team and helped guide us through many big moments we have had to navigate as a community. He has shown up and championed access for our church with his extensive network of resources. His decades of ministry experience have provided council that has been transformative. We are grateful to God for the amazing support he has been.  We would personally recommend him as the highest caliber of minister from which to learn and grow in faith and leadership and revelation of the Father’s heart.” Seth Brooks, Lead Pastor at Love City Church

“George has been a personal friend and mentor for over five years. He has brought great insight into my life, as well as encouragement and deep moments of teaching.  He has the heart of a father and is filled with love, insight and compassion.  George understands the heart of the Father and the heart of the orphan. He lovingly brings healing, as he shares from his heart. George has also been a voice into our church leadership. He has done some teaching for various retreats and leadership meetings. His leadership experience as a pastor has brought great healing, practical coaching, and teaching to our leadership team. I highly recommend him for any individual or church leader seeking to have a better understanding of the Father‘s heart. So many pastors and leaders have few friends they can talk to or confide in. George has helped fill that gap in my life and it will continue to do so, as a friend and spiritual father.”  Jack Shumate, former Pastor at The Loft Church
